Role Summary:

Provide business development support across EMEA, including identification, research, monitoring, and management of new business opportunities. The Analyst will be part of a small global Lead Management team, responsible for supporting business development across the firm. S/he will report directly to Vice President, Lead Management based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New business opportunity identification/ screening

    1. Identify potential prospect/target companies using a broad range of research tools, closely monitoring specific markets and anticipating impact on companies of changing business, economic, legal, and industry issues.

    2. Develop subject matter expertise in one or more of our key business areas to act as source of “market knowledge” for the relevant practice(s).

  2. Business development project management

    1. Keeping track of all new business development ideas, and ensuring accountability of their pursuit across the practice.

    2. Keeping track of Marketing activity across the practice, and ensuring consultants within the practice are well informed of on-going marketing activities

  3. Pipeline management & reporting

    1. Assist in managing the opportunities pipeline, ensure CRM system hygiene

    2. Prepare and present pipeline reports to support management

  1. Knowledge management

    1. Act as the key ‘go-to’ person for credentials in the practice.

    2. Actively collect credential documents, project manage development of new credentials and assist improving qualifications materials

    3. Help consultants identify relevant qualifications and key professionals within the firm to ensure best positioning for pursuing business opportunities

  2. Research & analyses to support business development

    1. Work with third party research provider to deliver research and analyses to support business development efforts.

    2. On a limited basis, provide financial, situation and performance analysis.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience with demonstrated strong performance. Project management and business development/sales admin experience in a professional services environment preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance.

  • Strong analytical and research skills including the ability to work effectively with data and market intelligence.

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency using Excel and Power Point.

  • English fluency

  • Second language fluency- French, German, Spanish or Italian language (European locations), preferred

  • Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other research tools a plus.
