Role Summary:

Provide business development support across EMEA, including identification, research, monitoring, and management of new business opportunities. Provide strategic support to Lead Management Directors on special projects, managing external party relationships/ contracts and other topics as needed. The role requires working closely with senior practice leaders, and therefore, has high visibility.

The Vice President will be part of a small global Lead Management team, responsible for supporting business development across the firm. S/he will have 2-3 direct reports, and will report directly to Co-Lead/ Director, Lead Management based in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New business opportunity identification/ screening

    1. Identify potential prospect/target companies using a broad range of research tools, closely monitoring specific markets and anticipating impact on companies of changing business, economic, legal, and industry issues.

    2. Develop subject matter expertise in one or more of our key business areas to act as source of “market knowledge” for the relevant practice(s).

  2. Pipeline management & reporting

    1. Assist in managing the opportunities pipeline, ensure CRM system hygiene

    2. Prepare and present pipeline reports to support management

  3. Knowledge management

    1. Oversee development and improvement of qualifications materials

    2. Help consultants identify relevant qualifications and key professionals within the firm to ensure best positioning for pursuing business opportunities

    3. Ensure Analyst team has right resources and infrastructure in place to support consultants identify relevant pitch resources

  4. Internal Communications

    1. Ensure new research tools and resources are effectively communicated to consultant communities

    2. Act as the face of Lead Management in the UK. Conduct new-joiner orientation to Lead Management, and present LM capabilities in internal meetings as needed.

  5. Lead Management Strategic Support

    1. Support Lead Management Directors on special projects, team management, external party relationships/ contracts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with demonstrated strong performance. Project management and business development/sales admin experience in a professional services environment preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance

  • Strong interest in Sales Admin/ Business Development support

  • Experience or strong interest in managing a small team

  • Strong analytical and research skills including the ability to work effectively with data and market intelligence

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency using Excel and Power Point.

  • English fluency

  • Second language fluency- French, German, Spanish or Italian language (European locations), preferred
